ja, ich habe ja einen echten vasen-tick... an schönen vasen komme ich schlecht vorbei und die sammlung wächst und wächst. herr pimpi bekommt regelmäßig die krise deswegen. aber... hallo??? wie kann man sich denn so ein gutelauneschätzchen nicht schnappen? außen geringelt und innen glücklich gelb!

yes, i do have a vase tic... i never ever can resist beautiful vases and my collection is constantly growing. mr. pimpi is going nuts about that, but anyhow... wouldn't you have bagged this darling as well? with it's stripes and even happy yellow inside...!

... und wenn es dann im gleichen WINTÄTSCHshop auch noch gleich den passenden kerzenhalter dazu gibt und porzellan-vögelchen? also bitte...

... well, and having the opportunity to grab a matching yellow candle holder and a pair of fine china birdies at the same VINTAGEshop? you see...

ich freue mich total über die neue alte couchtisch-deko und bin auch gerade so richtig in frühlingsbastelwut! vor kurzem habe ich ein echt süßes buch entdeckt, mit bastelideen für jede jahreszeit... "mit LIEBLINGSsachen durch das JAHR: basteln für und mit KINDERN"... besonders die OSTERideen gefallen mir ungemein...

 i really love my new-old coffee table decoration and i am in a springlike cratfy mood. i stumbled across a gorgeous book recently showing lots of crafty ideas around the year for moms & kids... "mit LIEBLINGSsachen durch das JAHR: basteln für und mit KINDERN". i especially like the EASTER projects... 

... die bunten PAPIERanhänger für frühlingszweige in der vase (ich sagte doch, vasen in allen formen und farben werden immer dringend gebraucht! ;)

... the happy PAPER hangers for spring twig bouquets in a vase (didn't i say that vases are badly needed in every shape and color? ;)

... oder die pappmâché osterkörbchen aus TORTENspitze! das wird auf jeden fall ausprobiert.

die sonne scheint ganz toll seit einigen tagen und hebt die laune. trotzdem ist es hier im norden noch uzzelig kalt... aber richtig! deshalb sprießt in unserem garten leider auch noch gar nichts... nur ein einziges todesmutiges schneeglöckchen trotzt tapfer dem nachtfrost. jetzt habe ich da mal nachgeholfen...

the sunshine is lifting up my spirits although it's still damn chilly here in the north! still no sprouts of any kind to see in our backyard, except for a single snowdrop defying night frost. i just had to boost spring a bit...

...und so blüht es ab heute wenigstens direkt vor der haustür schon mal! juhu!

... and so it's blooming in front of our door already! yay!

... ist meine lieblingsfarbe. schon immer. mein erstes fahrrad war grasgrün, ebenso wie die allerliebsten lieblingsschuhe meiner 70er jahre kinderzeit.

... has been my favorite color ever since. my first bike was a grass green one, the favorite shoes of my 70s childhood were green as well.

ich liebe grüne düfte wie den geruch von zitronengras und limetten.

allein das schnuppern macht einen fröhlich!

i love green scents like the smell of lemon grass and lemons.

the snuffling alone makes me happy!

kein wunder also, dass grünes thai curry eines unserer liebsten rezepte ist.

{das rezept, dass ich immer wieder gern nachkoche ist aus einem buch, das ich schon ewig habe...  das große buch der asiatischen küche ...auch nach so langer zeit, finde ich immer noch, dass es eine der besten asiatischen rezepte-sammlungen ist. }

als ich heute FRAU KRAMs beitrag zur KORALLENROTEN fotolawine sah, fiel mir ein, dass ich ja das gezeigte stöffchen auch neulich vernäht und noch gar nicht gezeigt habe. dann mal los...

when i saw FRAU KRAM's entry for our CORAL RED photo-avalanche today i remembered that i sewed up the same fabric recently.... and i didn't show you yet, so here we go...

meine freundin SONNI hat von ihrem lieblingsmann eine spiegelreflex-kamera zum geburtstag bekommen. wenn man vorher immer mit einer kleinen point&shoot unterwegs war, dann muss man sich an das gewicht erst einmal gewöhnen. schlimm wenn dann auch noch das gurtband kratzt und kneift... mal ganz abgesehen davon, dass es grottenhässlich ist. wir mädels brauchen da schon lange was schickeres, oder?

ich habe ja schon ganz lange ein wunderschönes kameraband von FRAU SCHAUBUDE! darüber freue ich mich immer wieder. tanja bietet in ihrem shop aber nicht nur traumschöne fertige kamerabänder an, sondern auch ein tolles DIY-paket zum selbermachen...

my friend SONNI got a DSLR-kamera as a birthday gift from her dearest hubby. well, if you are used to take a small point&shoot, you got to get accustomed to the new weight you're carrying with you. scratchy camera straps make it even worse... besides that they do look awful, don't they? we girls definitely need more pretty stuff!

i got myself a lovely camera strap from FRAU SCHAUBUDE quite a while ago! i still love it so much. but tanja does not only offer awesome fabric camera straps at her shop but also a DIY-kit...

... und deshalb hat meine freundin jetzt auch eins und garantiert noch mehr spaß beim fotografieren mit dem neuen schätzchen! :)

... so my friend now has one too and she has even more fun taking photos with her new darling. that's for sure! :)
